Sturdy, Well-Designed Extension Wand – A Must-Have for Shop Vacs This is a review for the 1.25 Inch Stainless Steel Vacuum Extension Wand Compatible with Vacuums using 1 1/4 Inch (1.25in) 32mm Accessories - 1 1/4 Vacuum Extension Tube for Shop Vac (Stainless Steel Extension Wand).I have a small shop vac that I use for cleaning in my downstairs lab. It has a fairly short 1.25" (32mm) vacuum hose and came without accessories, though it has attachment points for them. I acquired a great set of attachments, but constantly stooping over while vacuuming the floor was a hassle. This stainless steel extendable tube directly solves that problem, so I was excited to test it out.The build quality is outstanding. The tubing wall is 0.5mm thick and very sturdy. There is a slide lever on one end that, when slid back, allows the inner shaft to be manually extended. The inner tube has grooves pressed into it that lock the extension in place when the lever is released. Fully retracted, it measures 59 cm (23.2 in), and fully extended, it reaches 89 cm (35 in). One end attaches easily and securely to my 1.25" vacuum hose, fitting inside without any need for adapters or tape. The other end is slightly narrower and fits perfectly into my accessories, which have just under a 1.25" inner diameter. It worked perfectly out of the box.At 6 feet (1,83 meters) tall, I find the length ideal for cleaning my lab while also being collapsible for easy storage. It's simple, high quality, and effective—what more could you ask for?My shop vac works for both wet and dry cleanup. While I rarely use it for wet applications, the stainless steel construction ensures durability even when cleaning up liquids.My only minor issue is that hair tends to build up at the end attached to the vacuum. However, this isn't a real problem—just something to clean off before storing, as one should with all well-maintained tools.Would I return this product after using it for a few days? No way. This will be with me for life—a real problem solver. I'm so glad I added this to my shop vac setup.

High quality tube Quite frankly was shocked by the sturdiness and quality for the price. It is impressively good. Sure beats the plastic extensions I had been using. Only downside is the added weight, but I like it

Outstanding Quality! It is a stand-out tool. It feels like a solid accessory amongst a sea of plastic junk being sold everywhere. The wand's telescoping action is smooth and the click to let you know it's going to stay in-place at your desired length. So many pole length positions can be chosen depending on the job at-hand or the person performing the tasks. I truly love it!
