Perfect connection to my V7
I'm going to start with the mild annoyance as it pertains to this Mini Motorized Brush Head for Dyson Cordless V7. I have stretch slipcovers on my couch and its cushions. The brush roll stopped turning unless I held my vacuum at a specific angle because that material can be easily lifted, particularly with the vacuum strength of the V7. It continued to pull crumbs from the cushion. But, having to then readjust the slipcover is an extra step. When I figured out the angle at which I should hold the vacuum, the brush roller was able to turn. It was effective at vacuuming material that is heavy or otherwise attached to a surface and the brush didn't stop turning. I appreciate the 2 extra red pieces. I don't know how strong the velcro-like material is and whether the replaced strips would hold well to the bar.The mini motorized brush, overall, feels much like the OEM Dyson attachments. It also connects easily, locks into place and then releases with ease when the red button is pressed.Overall, this is a quality attachment. It made it far easier to vacuum my car seats and floor than when I used the large motorhead which was included in the box with my Dyson S7.If I could give this mini motorhead 4.5 stars I would. Just keep in mind that, if you want this to vacuum your couch, living room chairs, recliner or any other seat which you have covered in stretch slip covers, you will potentially need to readjust the slip covers when you're done vacuuming.

Vine reviewer here giving you my honest hands-on review and inspection of the product you are considering.I have two different Dysons, one upstairs, one downstairs. It may sound excessive, but let me tell you, you are likely to do something you don't like doing if it is easy. One up, one down is convenient, and I vacuum a lot more with two in the house. This fits both the SV12 and the SV15. I had lost this attachment and only have one which we keep downstairs. I have a cat who rules the house and sleeps wherever she wants. I definitely needed to replace the one I lost because she leaves a nice layer of cat hair everywhere she sits and sleeps. This picks up the hair easily. It also comes with two extra bristles.The quality is very good. It matches up with the real thing. It fits easily, performs well, and is a great value for what you are replacing.
