Slight modification to make these work better
This set of three horsehair brushes and adapters was just what I needed. I had a big workshop to clean from top to bottom and knew I’d be really hard on them. One of them was enough to do everything so far and has really stood up to the challenge. The quality of these is great and despite my hours of use on every surface imaginable, the bristles holding tight. The adapters fit tightly and should adapt to most vacuums.There is one issue with these but one that can be partially fixed with a modification. From the outside, the bristles project out 7/8” but inside the plastic extends further so the bristles are really only 1/2” long measured from the plastic (see photos). This is a problem in itself if you were hoping for longer bristles. But the real problem was as I used this, it would suction onto flat surfaces instead of hovering above which made it difficult to use and frustrating. Normally, stiffer or longer bristles would keep the attachment off the surface enough to avoid this problem but the inner ring cause this to happen. I took a 1/4” brad point drill bit and 8 holes into the inside ring in a circle right behind the bristles. This let air flow through so it couldn’t suction onto surfaces and get stuck and made it work perfectly. For some tasks, it worked okay as-is, but I’ll probably end up modifying all of them this way since they work much better.Overall I am happy with these and with three of them, I didn’t mind doing some experimenting to get them to work better. Still I think the design could be a bit better so they work without modification.

Great for Basic Dust VacuumingThese are nice dust brushes for basic cleaning around the house. The hair on the brushes is not as dense as my higher-end brushes, but they're perfect for quickly dusting my TV cabinet, sofa, and bookcase when last minute company is coming over. They also fit my nifty onboard wand attachment that I keep with my vacuums so my tools are always handy.I can confirm that these dust brushes fit perfectly on my Bissell Zing vacuum, and also fit my Miele C3 vacuum with the adapter.These are a great value.
